You see these kind of posters and have a pretty good idea what you will be in for. Whether or not what we're told is based on truth, I just watched it as I would one of those paranormal shows. As a battle between good and evil, with Christianity pitted against a hellspawn, I just watched it as entertainment. Summer popcorn horror, with Wan given 40 mil to cook up a number of paranormal / possession special effects with the Warrens supplying New Line / Warner Bros. material to maybe pocket some bank. I would say those who didn't like the first might just ought to skip this sequel.
