1985 - Favorite Films

 What a great year! Now my ratings typically have at least one 5/5 or several 4.5s but the quality and quantity of 1985 for me personally gobsmacked me. I consider anything I rate 3.5 or higher as solid to rock solid. And I know for sure that 1985 has some films plenty of horror podcasters would rate not just higher than me but consider them some of their favorite horror films, period.

Now, I love these top films in my list and can watch them all the time, but I never loved them as much as my peers. I was surprised Fright Night took the top spot, but out of the films this felt the most beloved to me personally, whereas the highly regarded 2-7 you could easily see as the top spot of any horror favorites list. Still, 1985 seems to be ideally one of the most celebrated in horror fandom.
