Scream the Series - Second Season: Happy Birthday to Me
The episode where Brooke gets the Carrie bloodbath on a pageant stage. And the episode where Kieran's birthday party, set up by his sneaky cousin, Eli with help from Emma (he tells Emma that Kieran wants a big party, which is a lie), is perpetrated by spiked tequila (ayahuasca) supposedly from Jake, clearly by the current season Ghostface killer. The hallucinogenic effects produce different results according to each person's brain chemistry. Brooke sees Jake while Stavo, having tried the drug in the past, "guides" her out of it. Emma sees the moon change in color and the Ghostface killer, with knife in hand, charging at her (was that an actual killer in the woods?) Audrey sees her old girlfriend, apologizing to her. Kieran needs help to his bed while Eli seems quite hungry while also giggling. Zoe, Noah, and Audrey share kisses with each other. Eventually Sheriff Acosta is called in to get details about the tainted wine left by whoever killed Jake. The Lady of the Lake pageant, Jake's mutilated body dropped onto the stage and his blood all over Brooke makes for quite a display for a lot of the students and faculty to see. Emma realizes that there is another killer, while she's aggravated at her father and mother for their unresolved issues (while seemingly pulling her into their problems). Eli tries to apologize for his antics but Emma tires of no one believing her about an attacker the previous night at the party. Kieran believes, before Jake's body dump on stage, Emma might be experiencing ongoing trauma causing her feelings about another killer...well that is put to rest by episode's end! When Audrey tried to bury the corkscrew, the killer must have followed her, because he communicates to her that she can't be rid of the weapon so easily, as she finds it under her covers in bed! The romantic entanglements, including Zoe and Noah's awkward exchanges and Brooke trying to figure out her attraction to Stavo, are a bit Dawson's Creek, but that's to be expected. This is a MTV show, we must remember. Stavo's creepy digital art of the cast is discovered by Audrey and his dad finds the Brandon James Ghostface mask in a box in his room...RED HERRING ALERT.
