Although in the previous episode Erica and Anna were just involved in a blackmail scheme, in "Eggshells" the two take their partnership a bit further...well that's putting it mildly. Erica visits Anna's seductive website and desires her. In "Leverage" Anna is studying a profile on Erica, learning more about her. When with another client lavishing Anna with a very expensive necklace, she is very receptive to her. Anna then gives this client a sexual experience expressing gratitude for such gifts. This second client--a beautiful woman who tells Anna she likes to buy her pretty things-- couldn't be anymore different than Mark, a foul beast. Much more sensual and intimate, the touching bodies are handled delicately and gently. Later, when Anna and Erica are intimate for the first time, it starts similarly, but is stopped midway when Erica halts Anna during the process of cunnilingus when it seems she just might be nearing orgasm. Anna tells her that this isn't about money, when visiting Erica in New York as a date, considered a major reason for her current success, much appreciated for securing that recording of Mark. Anna says she likes Erica. After a dissolved relationship ends poorly with Erica unable to hold on to a former lover, Anna might just be what she's looking for.
