And The Return is Almost Here...

Yep, just added Showtime to my subscription all because of the return of Twin Peaks. God, Laura Flynn Boyle was a BEAUTIFUL woman. Yeah, it is on SHO2 right now, and I'm unable to sleep due to my excitement. This has been in the making for a while, I guess, but those who have watched this show, long lost to its peculiarities, eccentricities, personalities, and madness are finally being rewarded for their wait. Some of those I knew dug this show are no longer around so I don't take it for granted how fortunate I am. I do wish it hadn't taken so long because I just know a few that are no longer alive would have joined me with some popcorn and drink to share in the return of a show that introduced itself to us, said goodbye due to the time it was given to us, and stayed away far too long. I guess I could have went ahead and picked up Showtime earlier due to its showing the series but there's no fucking way I'm missing its return. Miguel Ferrer is propped up on a table as assholish as ever. Bless his heart. The choice interviews and slight hints just won't offer us much at all and to that I can only smile. I just wish some of those Twin Peaks fans lost during its absence could be here with me. I won't take this for granted and savor its return while we have it. Because I'm not sure I'll be around once it might return again in the future.
