Friday the 13th-- Part III (1982). My viewing for the early evening.

1_This is probably the first time in quite a while I watched this sequel in the evening. For whatever reason I always enjoy watching it in the morning or early afternoon.
2_The implied rape and non-murder by Jason on the final girl still makes this sequel, with it's use of flashback, peculiar within cannon
3_Shelley and his movie magic tricks gave away a lot of the trade, reminding me of how pro wrestling was outed, particularly in today's presentation. But Shelley does a few things that might have been frowned upon by effects folks then.
4_Kimmel doesn't often get much credit for her character's resilience and perseverance, but she defends herself admirably. The acting can be a bit Yikes though.
