As I was talking about Lost at work a friend who is a big fan I failed to mention key scenes with Sawyer, the xenophobic pillager who doesn't mine words or filter what comes out of his mouth. When the boars are in the fuselage Jack asks where Sawyer is and the camera placement perfectly shields him out of frame. It is the punchline really. The camera pans right and there is Sawyer who answers back that he's right next to him! Then when talking about hunting boar Sawyer certainly questions that idea. He's got an opinion for everything. But he does have a moment where he hands over to Claire items that belong to her sort of signifying that he's not a total lost cause.
