John Ratzenbeger's appearance in House II might seem like just a way to tribute George Wendt's own casting in House (1986), both being Cheers alumni. I found myself just exhilarated at his minor support in a film that gives him what is essentially a glorified cameo. I was admittedly glad to see him anyway. I could see him leaving the house of Jesse and Charlie and going to have a beer with Harold (Wendt in House), talking about crazy neighbors and their daft houses. Ratzy's electrician, Bill Tanner, fancies himself more than just what his general occupation entails...he's an adventurer! Yep, Bill even carries a musketeer sword in his toolbox!
The role isn't as substantial or integral to the plot as Wendt's was, but Ratzy puts a smile on the face and this sequel-in-number-only is always willing to amuse.
