Shudder Theater #2
I've got an old review for this I'll share. I found this on Shudder and decided to watch a giallo favorite. The revelation of the mystery at the end isn't exactly KAPOW! But this film is deliciously shot by Storaro. I enjoy the 70s era period in Italy. Lots of attractive people, apartments, homes, and condos, decadent behavior, and lots of free sex. What I think really helps The Fifth Cord (1971) is Franco Nero's star power. The film really looked great on my HD television. Lots of location shooting with Nero going from place to place, a reporter looking for the scoops.
Just a few snips from the film. Not a lot, but a few.
