SYFY TZ Marathon - Once Upon a Time
If you love Buster Keaton, perhaps "Once Upon a Time" will be a treasure worth savoring. His voice is rough like gas station gravel in some Texas desert town and the advanced age slowing him down (when he chases after a child who snatched his "time travel helmet", he eventually runs out of breath with subsequent huffs and puffs), but the homage to silent film (the "Censored!" title cards crack me up) and how 1890 is treated differently than 1960, with Stanley Adams (always remembered for the Lost in Space trash triumph, "The Great Vegetable Rebellion") as an inventor looking to actually go back in time and escape all the city noise...that is until he gets there and the loss of all the modern conveniences leaves him bored and frustrated (Keaton saying to himself in title card that he gripes more than his mother in law). The running from cops happens to Keaton in both 1890 and 1960. The time travel helmet is a hoot.
This is normally a mid afternoon marathon mainstay, and that seemed like the perfect place in the schedule for it, typically New Years Day. It gets to that point where I'm not necessarily fatigued as much as picking and choosing which episodes to avoid. But at the end of 2020 and the start of 2021 (absent some cardio to get back in shape), I've not felt a bit of TZ fatigue yet. Could be I hadn't watched much TZ at the back end of 2020. Some time apart makes a return to the show all the better.
