Jessica Jones - WWJD?

*** / ****
So Kilgrave reveals to Jessica that when he was a child his parents just wanted to experiment on him. His reason for being such a psychopath is childhood trauma and dysfunction.

If he were just raised normally and had an ordinary upbringing, perhaps things might have worked out differently. The great what if that Jessica resists, trying something out positive by having Kilgrave accompany her to a holdup featuring a crazed lunatic with a shotgun, using his powers if persuasion to diffuse the situation and rescue his family from certain death.

It doesn't make him look at anything differently. That was an intriguing caveat considering his presentation up until here was strictly towards the dark side.

Jessica trying to make the most of a bad situation by coercing her current adversary away from destroying innocent people to helping out innocent people, utilizing his obsession with her in a beneficial way sets up an intriguing concept soon to be aborted when the chance to take advantage of his trust in her presents itself. Getting past his security and Will's covert task force, Jessica using a knockout drug to stabilize him, Kilgrave is finally subdued but what happens if he awakens and is able to get away?

Ritter gets to face the camera away from Tennant and reveal the turn of the screw Jessica endures thanks to Kilgrave.
