Lugosi DVD Three of his best from Five film SE

One of my favorite sets in the DVD/Blu library is the Bela Lugosi 5 featuring The Black Cat, The Raven, Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Invisible Ray, and Black Friday. Monday, starting in the late afternoon into late evening I watched the first three, with plans to finish with the final two on Tuesday afternoon. Quite a contrast in Lugosi and Karloff's characters between The Black Cat (1934) and The Raven (1935) where they swap roles from hero / heel to heel / hero. Unfortunately I don't have time to do any form of write-ups for the first three films, but I figure I'll find something already mentioning these from past years. Sometimes time constraints (and just enjoying the films instead of pondering what to say about them on the blog) and being winded from such a busy weekend for the blog does deprive me from offering anything substantial.

The Black Cat (1934)

The Raven (1935)

Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932)
