Terror Taxi 2000

These South Korean horror comedies can indeed pull out all the stops. Cabbie plans to propose to his girlfriend, but when reaching down for the ring in its case drives off a bridge killing himself accidentally. He realizes he is in a type of warped afterlife where he's still a taxi driver but the best fuel for his ride is blood! His buddy, a fellow cabbie, is an addict and reckless, owing dues to a drug lord and contending with a taxi company boss who harangues him. Soon a demonic spirit existing in our hero's afterlife wants to occupy his buddy's body and have access to the human world again! Our hero's girl is in deep with a kingpin for money owed for her not-so-lucrative street vendor business. And then there is our hero dealing with being dead, the denizens of the afterlife, and how to see his loved ones again. The "ghost cab" also gets to freak out certain living motorists who perish during high speed chases. Oh, and I can't forget there is a psychotic on the loose in a car with an extended claw that slices and dices unsuspecting motorists as well! A cab that flies around and causes mischief to the living is quite an idea indeed!
