Carnal Wishes
He could be cheating on her as he leaves late nights. He can be a bit intimidating towards her. She confides in her gal pal that there could be trouble brewing in the relationship. She has the fancy digs his money brings. The swimming pool and the luxurious furnishings. The finest clothes. The glam life her man provides. But is he faithful? The private investigator with a healthy fuckbuddy--oops, I'm sorry, "friends with benefits"--who wishes to be around him during his investigation process, recommended to her by the gal pal who had acquired him due to a business associate doing her underhanded. Soon she is fucking the PI! Meanwhile, we soon see that her gal pal is returning home to a lady awaiting to provide comforting sweet love. The PI still does his job with detours of sex with his client, soon realizing he's a pawn in a game...and this returns us to why she shoots her man at the beginning of the film.
Jayden Cole is the woman I talk about above. She has an extensive history of lesbian Sapphic erotica, both hard and soft, while her work with guys is exclusively soft. She's a softcore star existing in the simmering ashes of what is not dead yet in regards to the genre. While this plot shares nothing new, it still follows a story arc as connective tissue with the sex scenes. Sean Juergens has been in this game for a while. All the softcore lovelies his characters have bedded, I would be amused to learn of the body count. India Summer was a late but welcome bloomer to the sex genre's, highly in demand. She's so sultry and alluring. The way she talks, India can get down and dirty in her dialogue or soothingly seductive, wooing and urging possible suitors to share the love with her amazing body.
Cole has those legs (my favorite physical attributes of hers in her films, although she has the most beautiful face and healthy looking body) and this comfortable willingness to disappear into characters who give over their bodies for one reason or another. And she doesn't sleepwalk when her characters are involved sexually with men and women. This smile and sometimes exhilaration that exudes from her to sell the joy and pleasure her characters feel helps give her sex scenes some needed interest. Boredom which is understandable in the generalities of this genre and the profession itself which require naked bodies and imitation sex can seep into performance and characterization. Cole often belies that by showing how fun and delish it all can be when caution goes bye-bye in favor of time spent in the throes of passion.
Ryan Driller has a nonexistent part. He gets to lay Jayden first and is shot by her pretty much for his money. Surprise! Surprise! I have seen him elsewhere and he leaves little impression. He might be the prop kind of actor while Jeurgens, who might be entering the latter stages of his porn career considering he's been doing this since 2000, seems to have that kind, trustworthy face and absence of aggression or egocentric douchebaggery that typically surfaces in characters portrayed by male actors in the genre. He seems soft and vulnerable which might explain how women in these movies embrace him with open arms, welcoming him to touch and feel them in whatever way he so chooses.
The underused Lea Lexis, who I would absolutely love to see the lead in her own softcore movie, is the sex interest for Jeurgens' PI. When Sean begins a tawdry affair with Jayden, she is damn near written out of the movie. Like Morgan Lee, who has sadly one scene in the film (she is India's sex interest), Lea is one of those casualties of a low budget softcore movie casting attractive bodies with little more importance than mild dialogue exchange and sex talk.
This film does have a trick up its sleeve in that motivations that eventually develop results of an unexpected nature don't necessarily coalesce with a conversation between Jayden and India in their first scene together. Unless we, the viewer, are treated as an onlooking audience they are purposely trying to fool, which would only make sense if the ladies addressed us like Ferris Buehler once the ruse was complete.
The Pièce de résistance of the film is the closing surprise revealing friends enjoying victory. They are no longer beholden to some façade as India and Jayden joyfully embrace each other in celebratory love making. It isn't as long as I would prefer but it has two game performers who I don't think had worked together or crossed paths in the past. They look really compatible.
Sean is like touché when realizing he was duped. Hell, at least he was allowed to keep on breathing. And he got a couple good times with Jayden as well. At least Lea might return as a willing substitute.
As you see, going between Jayden's legs is an offer few could refuse.
