Innkeepers two
I have to admit that I wasn't one of those who fell head over heels for House of the Devil so it wasn't like I had high expectations. I didn't expect Ti West to make another *masterpiece*. Like his other films (I watched The Roost when it showed on The Movie Channel's Splatterday Saturday, so I understood his directorial style of building to a crescendo where the characters are just doing their thing when sinister events catch them off-guard), the pace is methodical, the cinematography capturing as much a possible in any given scene when West isn't interested in the reactions of his stars/cast. I guess, you need to like his characters, or at the very least find some familiarity with them..to know them is to care about their plight. I like little Paxton. I plan to drop a picture of her after the movie is over...one that depicts her eyes up close because that is what I find such beauty in. She's a little woman; I'm attracted to little, itty, bitty women so she is my cup of tea.
