| Lost Boys - The Tribe |
While I will be mentioning Sam, the character, and the late Corey Haim who played him in my blog review for Lost Boys - The Tribe, I had to comment on the nice tribute to both because it really was especially affectionate and thoughtful. Haim's death still kind of leaves me a bit sad (as I'm sure it does his fans) because I always feel it didn't have to be that way, but such tragedy happens every day. Still, the sequel has clips with Haim's character from the very first film factoring into Edgar Frog's decision to agree to go after the head vampire in Lost Boys 3, which I thought was a pleasant touch. Especially the use of the Batman comic for extra pathos.
