Castle was a casualty of the October challenge, where I needed new viewings to successfully complete it. Macabre was the only Castle film other than usual suspect House on Haunted Hill that made the cut this year. Going into November, because I have no rush at getting in a film a day now, I could take my time and actually devote a lot more energy and care to whatever film might be on my agenda. A few Castle films are on my mind, especially Homicidal which is my personal favorite of his films. Castle is no doubt one of my treasured filmmakers in the genre of horror. He loved making them and introducing them to an audience he hoped to appeal to. I'm tough on myself for not featuring him more on the blog because he is a figure I hold near and dear to my heart.
