Eve's Secret (2014)
So here's the plot in the basic outline for Eve's Secret (2014):
an erotic photographer is seeking out the "perfect model" while his
painter girlfriend often has words with him about how imperfection is as
much valuable as perfection, with a new model entering their lives who
seems to fit the description of what he has been looking for. Living a
hedonistic lifestyle, the photographer and artist seem to co-exist in a
passionate relationship while the ability to stray doesn't seem to
fracture what they currently have. Eve is played by blond beauty,
Charlotte Stokely, with Chanel Preston portraying the artist who is
"sharing" the affections of Danny Pape's photographer. While Preston is
persistent that Pape's frustrations over trying to find the perfect
model so he can be ultimately satisfied with his work are ridiculous, as
Stokely enters his life, she brings the kind of body he considers
exactly fitting the bill.
The obsessive gratification of Stokely's ego being stroked thanks to the
photography embellishing her looks created a monster in Eve. That
monster only emerges as the film needs to end. It still all comes down
to if you find the consistent nakedness of Preston and Stokely
appetizing. They do all they can to tell us that sex with Pape is
magnificent and worthwhile. Ultimately, it is really about placing
yourself in Pape's position and imagining what it would be like to be at
the pleasure of women freely offering their bodies to his embrace.
Essentially, Pape gets to bang Preston and Stokely throughout the film
(all three partake in an orgy, where he gets a dual oral job by the
women) to his heart's content. He gets to benefit from a model's sexual
willingness right before Eve enters the picture. In these movies, certain
professions indicate a fortune of women totally susceptible to sexual
persuasion. A masseuse has hands to caress certain spots that arouse
female clients, with them signalling to him she's all his. A detective
interviews female suspects or witnesses regarding a crime and his looks
or method of approach encourages sexual interest in him. A photographer
lenses countless women in forms of undress (but in these movies, naked)
and the potential of gaining them exposure and financial success elicits
a sexual response. So Pape is the lucky recipient of women offering
their naked bodies for her erotic perusal. Pape has been around doing
the rounds of the softcore genre for quite a while.
Certain actors continue to find work in the genre because they know how to perform fake sex and allow his actress performers to work their magic by making him out to be the best lover on the face of the earth. Preston and Stokely have been in hardcore and so performing softcore is all a manner of where to help hide Pape's pecker from view and use their alluring bodies to maintain the attention of the audience. All things seem to be going well for Pape, Stokely, and Preston until the request for Eve to add spots of paint on her body to emphasize "imperfection" so that his shoot could look a little different, while still establishing his model's enchantment photographically. Pape and Stokely arguing about getting rid of the photographs with paint on her face (a big no-no; she barely agreed to have her body "sullied" with the paint, quite disagreeable about her "perfect skin" being uglied purposely) instigates the rift that finishes the film.
Yeah, seeing this outburst just suddenly explode with Stokely cutting Pape and suffering a bloody wound on her arm by Preston (protecting her man) is as if those involved in the writing process felt they needed to wrap things up, so this violent conclusion provides one last fuck before the credits roll. Remove Stokely from Pape's life and assure him that Preston is correct in her assessment that imperfection has its place while perfection perhaps offers danger.
