From Graduation to Sorority Row

While my first slasher review of 2013’s Summer Slasher Series took place during the period heading towards graduation, The House on Sorority Row (1983) takes place after college graduation. I actually have a VHS copy of The House on Sorority Row I picked up as a mom and pop dvd rental store (that uncharacteristically still rented VHS tapes) as they were going out of business. I was glad that the film became accessible on dvd for those who might not have had a chance to see it on VHS. I typically enjoy watching the 80s slashers for the recognizable faces that may never have found total success in the industry but had their brief flirtations. I hope to enjoy House while writing about it as I did for Graduation Day. Except I won’t be spending an eternity on the review for House.
