Sure enough I forgot a detail I meant to mention last night but forgot regarding The Mummy's Ghost. Inexplicably Ames turns into a petrified corpse as Kharis carries her into the swamp. In the next film she once again returns to this form. Bonkers plotting reigned in the Universal Mummy series. I am writing this from my phone so it goes to show you how the mind can only spill out so much!
