My being all over the place in terms of how I watch the Halloween films is just kind of a random selection process. However, I think I liked that I watched Part 5 *before* Part 4. Rachel's death kind of bummed me out yesterday as I thought about it while watching the movie. How I felt it was a mistake. Seeing Rachel *and* Jamie both in this thing together made me appreciate seeing the forth film *after* the fifth. It kind of had me reflecting on how much I fucking hated the way Laurie was unceremoniously dismissed in Resurrection. Rachel not in the fifth film but a short time and the Tina character instead kind of replacing her just kind of felt like a bad decision by those who made the fifth film. Seeing Rachel as a resilient fighter in the forth film reminded me of what the fifth film lost. Sure a fire extinguisher wasn't about to stop the Haddonfield maniac, but she got behind the wheel of that truck and made sure he got a dose of hood.

Question though: when the posse had Jamie and Rachel in the truck and Michael was hanging on the back, how couldn't the highway patrol officer with a flashlight not see him???
