The silhouette of the Master in the right corner says all that needs to be said about how dear his work and Psycho (1960) was to director Franklin. Writer Tom Holland (prior to being a director himself) himself has said this project was also dear to him (hence the developments in the screenplay to really shake things up regarding characters and their motivations in regards to Norman).

Yep, April 3, 2015 has been a Psycho II kind of day thanks to the thread on the imdb horror board mentioning it as a film worthy of praise and status. Sequels often aren't necessarily desired or warranted, but I think the style in this film (thanks to the artistry of Dean Cundy) is of top quality and caliber.
