Daughters of Darkness (1971)

I totally never remembered this visual in the accidental-murder cover-up towards the end of the movie! Seyrig "spreads her wings". This is hinting towards Ouimet's transitional seduction by Seyrig, with the beach imbued in blue as darkness encroaches the principles of the cast. This is a great looking movie. Watching it, I realize why the first viewing was such a marvelous aesthetic experience.
