Scream 7
sort of logging this here once I see the film with my wife and daughter on Sunday. The only Scream film I didn't see in theater was the third one. I cannot for the life of me remember why. I decided not to log this on Letterboxd or anywhere else because the discourse around this film is just representative of the country I live in: we are a dumpster fire, a divided society, and I have just accepted we are forever fucked.
There will never be unity, a sense of countrywide connection. At best, if we can keep from killing each other at this point, it's a win. The behind the scenes of this film is just a disaster. Handled terribly, with the boycott against the film quite substantial.
So I'll just write about the film on Sunday on the blog and avoid any mindfields that might come from it.
