Maybe it was a penalty against the movie being that following after The Haunting did The Uninvited no favors, but I didn't quite expect this to be as of such disappointment as it was. I plan to give it a stronger go today as the film came right as I was writing the blog review for The Haunting so I didn't devote full attentiveness to The Uninvited so it will be my Thursday night movie. I hope it grips me better and creeps more but there's certainly an elegance in the location and characters that populate the movie.
